Today’s breakfast consisted of a cheese stick, 2 eggs, bacon & orange juice.  The orange juice is not Primal/Paleo approved.  There is too much sugar in juice.  A better choice would have been to have an actual orange.

Snacks were hard boiled egg, pork rinds, and a slice of date nut crust fruit pie. That pie was just as good today as it was two days ago. Yum!

Lunch was spinach, broccoli, carrots and sirloin steak.

Dinner was a Larabar.

I also made some carrot cookies. They were more savory than sweet, and were a nice accompaniment to my cup of coffee.

The cookies were made with baby carrots, pecans, shredded coconut, butter, vanilla, nutmeg, and eggs.

As for energy, I have been tired and unmotivated all day. I’m thinking it’s the dietary change. I’ve read that it is common, but I hope it passes soon.

My cold-like symptoms are improving.

Exercise left a lot to be desired today. At least I walked up and down the driveway a couple of times. That’s better than nothing isn’t it?
